This game looks like a classic Zelda but has a great move set and amazing world to explore. The room design, dungeon design and over world design are seriously genius. Honestly this game didn't get the recognition it deserves.

一款真正好玩的 连战完了接跳跳乐 跳跳乐完了接boss战 含大量能力锁 能自由探索 大部分时间在粪坑(指下水道) 2D的 Steam76块钱的游戏
This is a masterpiece, beautiful adventure metroidvania with a lot to explore, perfect level of difficulty, funny humor and decent combat. 10/10 without any doubt.
This game is so, so good. It's a shame that there are fewer than 1k reviews for it on Steam, so it seems to be going under the radar. Just adding my voice to do what I can to tip the scales in the developer's favor. Imagine for a moment that the GameBoy Advance had 4 face buttons instead of 2 and was still getting new games today. That's exactly what this game feels like, in all of the best ways. (I'm sure if you really want to nitpick that claim, it's likely pushing more sprites at once and runs smoother than would be possible on the GBA at some points, but it's got the right spirit.) As such it also feels absolutely perfect on the Steam Deck, even if most of my playtime was at my desktop PC. Levels are expertly crafted to use the movement skills that you gain throughout the game, making it much more top-down metroidvania than 2D-Zelda-like. Not to mention that the skills are just plain fun to use. They're also very well tutorialized through actual use, showing you the different ways to use each skill that you will need to master in order to progress. And when I say master, I mean it; you will need to understand how the skills work both individually and in tandem in order to complete the game. It's as much a puzzle as it is a test of reflexes and execution. Incredibly satisfying to pull off. The one mechanic that I truly adored, though, is how upgrades are handled. You enter a contract with one of your crew in order to buy a powerup, giving you instant access to the buff. However, instead of buying it outright, half of your coins that you pick up from that point go into paying off the debt. You also get some sort of debuff throughout the contract length, which is eventually removed after the debt is paid off. The upgrades themselves are pretty basic, but the way that this system feeds into the general gameplay loop is genuinely perfect to me. Just a unique, clever system all around. Story and writing are solid, if a bit cliche. It won't be the reason you pick up the game, but it will provide enough entertainment along the road. Music is also enjoyable, but I'm honestly struggling to remember any of the songs outside of the "key item acquired" jingle even though I rolled credits less than an hour ago. Overall this is a game I strongly recommend, especially if you have any nostalgia for the generation of games that clearly inspired it. (Game received for free from a friend on Bluesky; I was not in any way compensated for this review)
Yoyovania

(ᴛʀ / ᴇɴ)
ᴬᵖᵖʳᵒᵛᵉᵈ ᵇʸ ᴱᴺᴹᴬ ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Bu oyunun bu kadar az incelemeye sahip olduğunu gördükçe çok şaşırıyorum. Mina the Hollower öncesi oynanılabilir en iyi 2D macera platform kesinlikle. 2. oyunda görüşmek üzere <3 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3651438160 -ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈-┈┈┈┈- I'm really surprised to see that this game has so few reviews. It's definitely the best playable 2D adventure platformer before Mina the Hollower. It's full of mysteries and puzzles, and has a fairly large map. We collect badges that help us in the action parts for our character, as well as upgrade items that increase our health and badge points, by exploring the map and solving puzzles. Our character Pippit is an amazing yo-yo master, and throughout our adventure, we learn new skills from various activities, some useful in combat and others important skills you'll use in platforming. The game is definitely not easy, so I wish you good luck already :D Also, the GBA theme looks really cute; I definitely recommend trying to play it that way for a while. It's on sale at a great price, and considering the playtime and content, this game is definitely a must-have. See you in the second game <3 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3651438160 ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
